Overview（概述）

Thissurgicalprocedureisperformedtocorrectabunionette,abonybumpontheoutersideofthefootatthebaseofthefifthtoe.Theprocedureremovesthisexcessbonegrowth,eliminatingthebumpsothatthebunionettedoesnotpresspainfullyagainstshoes.

　　这种外科手术是为了纠正小趾囊炎，即第五趾根部脚部外侧的骨性隆起。该手术消除了这种多余的骨骼生长，消除了骨隆起，使小趾囊炎不再受鞋挤压引起疼痛。

Preparation（准备）

Inpreparationfortheprocedure,thepatientispositionedandanesthesiaisadministered.Thesurgeoncreatesasmallincisionalongtheoutersideofthefoottoaccessthemetatarsophalangeal(MTP)joint,wherethephalanxofthetoemeetstheheadofthemetatarsal.Thebunionetteislocatedontheheadofthefifthmetatarsal.

　　在准备手术时，将病人放置合适体位并施用麻醉。外科医生沿脚的外侧作一个小切口进入跖趾关节，即脚趾的趾骨与跖骨头相连处。小趾囊炎位于跖骨头处。

RemovingtheBunionette（去除小趾囊炎）

Oncethebunionetteisexposed,thesurgeonusesacuttinginstrumenttocarefullyremovethebonyprotrusion.Thesurgeonsmoothesandreshapestheedgesofthebone.

　　当小趾囊显露后，术者用切割工具小心切除骨突起，并对骨边缘打磨重新塑形。

EndofProcedureandAftercare（手术结束及术后护理）

Whentheprocedureis 　　手术完成后，缝合切口并包扎患足。患者可能需要穿特制的靴子4～6周以利于足愈合。
